Alex Radus serves as Senior Associate General Counsel to Lehigh University. He provides legal counsel to the University and leads the Business, Research & Innovation practice area, focusing on research and sponsored programs, industry partnerships, intellectual property, data privacy and security, entrepreneurship, and real estate.
Prior to joining Lehigh, Alex worked at an AM Law 100 law firm, where he maintained a diverse transactional practice with an emphasis on emerging companies, venture capital and M&A. Prior to private practice, he clerked for the Honorable Franklin S. Van Antwerpen of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Alex received his J.D. in 2013 from Temple University (Summa Cum Laude, Order of the Coif) and his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008 from Temple University (Summa Cum Laude). His law review article Instructing Juries on Noneconomic Contract Damages (co-authored with David Hoffman) was cited by the Supreme Court in Cummings v. Premier Rehab Keller, 596 U.S. 212 (2022).
Alex is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
