Kyra Salamon joined the Lehigh University Office of General Counsel in 2026 and currently holds the title of Executive and Legal Operations Assistant. With over two years of prior work experience in the Lehigh University Office of the Registrar, Kyra brings extensive institutional knowledge and a thorough understanding of university operations, systems, and departments. In her role, she assists and partners with the General Counsel, Matthew Lahey, on daily project collaboration and preparation, scheduling, and other administrative duties. In managing the daily operations of the OGC suite, she oversees and manages legal tech solutions and is the primary point of contact for the office and its departmental budget.
Kyra received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont in 2022. Prior to starting her higher education career at Lehigh, Kyra worked as an English teacher in Seville, Spain, and later returned to the U.S. to teach Spanish at Southern Lehigh High School.
